"don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. if you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand." -phil 4.6-7
i like God. he tends to bring the right things to your attention just when you need them.
you can now call me the official summer intern for nettwerk nashville. i started today. amanda, my supervisor is unexpectantly out of town this week (which is why i didn't start yesterday), but they need some extra hands in the office. perfect for the intern. so i went in today, met the other guys in the office, rolled my sleeves up, and got to work. and i think i'm going to like it. a lot. [don't worry, i know not to speak too soon. it's just the first day. stay tuned.]
can i just give a little shout out for working in nashville? this will probably be the only one, cause it's the first and clearly i'm the most excited. i got into work today and before amanda left she got together my 'intern packet.' it included 5 cds of some of their artists. free. holla. [i mean look at it this way: i'm not getting a paycheck from them, but i'm totally ok getting paid in cds. really.]
i prayed the verse above as i drove the commute into work today. and it's so true. i still consider myself a turtle in dance school, but i'm totally ok with that. i've got that peace paul talks about. friends will come, knowledge of the city will come, a tolerance for temperatures in the 90s will come, but in the mean time, God and i are on this adventure together.
nashville bring it on.
