rare statistic/cast of characters.

happy monday everyone. another day, another (nonexistent) dollar. a slower day in nashville for me; this is because i became a rare statistic. let me explain.

the cliff notes version is that when my parents came through this weekend, they brought me a new medicine to take for something. after taking it saturday night, i woke up very early sunday morning unable to move. i felt like a 85 year old arthritic my joints hurt so bad. at a more decent hour, i took a massive amount of pain killer and called my mom, like every good child when something hurts. with the power of mother and google, i realized that i was one of the rare statistics of this medicine, developing a arthritic/lupus like side effect from taking it. the nice people at nettwerk let me off early today, and i came home to take lots of asprin and start re-watching office season four (thanks to hulu) from the comfort of my own bed, trying to move a little as possible. i praise jesus for asprin. and that it should wear off tomorrow.

due to the slowness, it's time for the cast of characters post, to introduce you to the people i meet and spend time with. here goes:

rachel: me
molly: housemate, singer/songwriter, trying out for reality tv show
jenny: housemate, getting married in a month and a half
laura: housemate, studying for nursing boards
aaron: brother, lives here when not on the road
natalie: brother's girlfriend, tour guide
seth, mike, and jesse: brother's roommates, in a band
chelsae jo: brother's/my friend, savior from boredom
amanda: internship supervisor, gives me things to do during the day
chris and pasty: guys at work, managers for artists

i think that's about it for now. to save confusion and for clarity, i'll use names instead of referring to them as 'my brother's friend this,' 'my housemate that.' it should make more sense. hopefully i'll be able to add to this list over time.

alright, back to hulu

it stinks that you're feeling like an 85yr old woman, but I'm glad to see that you're using your time well while off work. :) I love hearing about your adventures in Nashville, but I love you more! Get better, friend!
